Who we are

Our holistic approach takes into account your specific circumstances, your unique interaction with your environment and the state of your body systems and organs, through detailed clinical case-taking and adapted investigation considerations.

Our naturopathic health plans combine evidence-based medicinal plants, personalised nutritional and lifestyle advice as well as coaching tips to help you regain balance and vitality at your own pace.

We specialise in:

  • Stress, Fatigue, Mental Health Management:

Through targeted and personalised interventions such as herbal remedies, nutritional supplements and/or advice and/or stress-reduction techniques, we help alleviate the physical and mental burden of modern life.

  • Brain Health Optimization:

Because our brain is so flexible and plastic, there are multiple ways to support and improve cognitive function, memory, and mental clarity using evidence-based naturopathic support, including cognition-enhancing supplements, nutrition and lifestyle advice that fits your life.

  • Digestive Function:

Did you know that some pathogens in your intestines can affect your brain through what is called the gut-brain axis? Intestinal inflammation can be low-grade, chronic and easily dismissed but has huge implications on your brain health, your mood, and your capacity to handle life stressors.

  • Hormonal health:

Because stress has a hormonal response that prioritises cortisol synthesis, hormonal imbalances can occur bidirectionally. The major glands and organs that govern the endocrine system are the pineal gland, pituitary gland, thyroid, parathyroid glands, pancreas, gonads (ovaries and testes), kidneys, and adrenals.

My name is Léa. I used to work in the energy sector for over 15 years and as far as I can remember I have struggled with stress. I was known for being stressed… and sometimes probably stressful too! It wasn’t just because of work; when I was an 18 y.o-student, I was so stressed I got headaches every Tuesday… the day before our weekly tests!

At the time, stress management was poorly understood, so my only relief was the use of painkillers, with increasing dosage frequency, decreasing relief and not addressing the root cause of my headaches, my stress. I gradually considered that it was part of my personality and that I wasn’t good at managing my stress, when in reality, I just did not have the tools. If I realised that exercising was helpful, I often struggled to prioritise exercise (or myself) as I was so busy (as we all are), especially fatigued and/or low mood. I did not realise though that I also used food and other unhelpful activities to soothe the tension, which impacted my health over time. I did not link the latter with my stress or my emotions then.

It is only during my studies in Naturopathy that I started to contemplate different ways to understand and manage stress and mental health, more deeply than I could have imagined. There are indeed alternatives to trying to “handle it better”!

Stress manifests differently from one person to another. Sources of stress are varied and very individual in nature. Stress needs to be approached with individual-centred tools that are the most relevant and sustainable in the long run, whether those tools are herbal remedies, nutritional supplements, diet-rebalancing advice, lifestyle strategies, emotional work, or more often a combination of those. Stress and mental health have bidirectional ramifications on the body that are now recognised as aggravating factors of so many chronic conditions (intestinal disorders, premature aging, dementia, glucose metabolism dysfunction, insomnia, blood pressure…). Our lives are stressful, we need holistic ways to support our wellbeing.

My key areas of interest include stress management, gut health, hormonal imbalances, thyroid health, eating disorders, sleep issues, and chronic fatigue.

Let’s work together towards your health goals.
